Mr. Knick currently leads and directs all the claims and loss control functions of Insurance Designers of Maryland. Mr. Knick received his Bachelors of Science degree in Insurance/Risk Management from Arizona State University in 1978.

In the 25 years prior to joining IDMD, all activities were within the Insurance/Risk Management field. Mr. Knick created and developed a full functioning Risk Management Department for a large diverse organization. In the capacity as Risk Manager, he directed and controlled all Risk Management activities. This included all Litigation Management, Claims and Loss Control activities in a self-insured program.

Prior to these activities Mr. Knick created and developed two Insurance Agency subsidiary's for two different Fortune 500 parent companies.
