Commitment To Service
We have formed our own underwriting entities to offer a broad array of
services to our entertainment clients. Our mission is not just to offer
insurance, but to provide a universal risk approach to assist our clients
in avoiding, transferring or minimizing their exposure to loss through:
§ Underwriting Analysis - No one knows this business better. Our analysis is designed to assess not only the entertainment portion of the business, but also more importantly, what goes on behind the scenes, such as contract reviews and vendor relationships that can be the ultimate cause of many claims.
§ Risk Management - Brochures and seminars aren’t risk management. Our risk management services provide real value through a commitment to visit each and every insured within 90 days of binding coverage to conduct a comprehensive inspection, followed by a detailed analysis of areas of concern that must be addressed by ownership. Fix the problem and stop the claim before it happens.
§ Loss Control - Claims happen. It’s what you do after they occur that determines whether you will have a successful loss avoidance program. Our claims professionals aggressively manage all claims in house. We closely monitor and control legal costs and settle claims based on merit, not expediency.
§ Systems – You’re only as good as what you know. We know the entertainment business better than anyone. But more importantly, we’ve developed systems and data retrieval capabilities which collectively enable us to track and analyze industry trends which keep us and our clients out front on developing threats to their businesses.
§ Service - Our customers are our business. We aggressively pursue new business that we believe meets our demanding underwriting and risk management standards. But once insured with IDMD, we believe we will have a customer for life. And we will do everything in our power to insure that.
IDMD is committed to the goal of providing our customers with the highest quality protection for their entertainment business.
